Walking home (Dublin City Centre to Palmerstown) now seems like the sensible option... 1.5 hours before I got a bus last night & barely got a shower before the water was turned off so it hardly seems worth it, and we're getting off at 3.

Anyone in Palmerstown (D.20) at the moment, have we had much since 7:30 this morning?

It's all circulating rather than moving in a straight line - see http://www.sat24.com/gb

Looks like Dublin is as good a place for it to hit than anywhere else.

I just wanted to be proven wrong. I find positivity does feck all when it comes to wanting snow.

F5 the page, it updates 11 minutes after the new time.

    E.g. 14:00 radar available at 14:11

Due to fly back from Spain this evening, what are the chances of Dublin Airport being open around 11pm?

For those of you looking for the radars.

Black box on the left, what Dublin is getting now. Red box on right, potentially on its way (and growing).

Wow! that looks something alright. But I think it will go North.

But..... Sat 24 showing it circulating, so get home now anyone in Dublin CC. I wouldn't take a chance. If it clips Dublin, so be it, but if it hits, it's game over.

Depends where that big band from Wales hits, if it hits around Dublin I'd say there is no chance of it being open, huge amounts of snow being reported in Wales and it would likely beef up a bit in the Irish Sea.

Can't see it going north myself.

If anything it will build in intensity as it passes over the Irish Sea, I would expect.

Yeah, most of the winds having been pushing NW and then back down SE, so it does have potential. It may drop everything on the Isle of Man, but it also may not :D

I hope you are right as I am just to the east of your line in Waterford. You could be spot on.

Yep, looks like light snowballs falling.

    Easily 5cm diameter flakes. Crazy.
