Heavy precipitation in that Welsh cloud. Looks like it could split around Dublin, hitting Meath and Wicklow instead.

I bet thats just a gap in the radar it will hit Dublin, actually it already is

i didn't think they had to pay for meals and put you up in a hotel if the cancellation is out of the airlines control?

They were doing it during the ash cloud problems

Not really light enough but every now and again there is a big flake. Think we are in for a dumping tonight!

I hope so. Nothing in Trim so far. I have a pain in my neck from looking out the window so much.

In the dublin area most of tonight's precipitation will be rain, possibly some sleet mixing in. Snow will be reserved for about 20km inland or over 200m...

    ONLY JOKING!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Dublin will get snowmagedon, i think.

Yeah we have had very little since the last spell. It looks like that activity coming from Wales is going to be further North so we should be in the firing line. Unless the winds change or it breaks up once it hits

Edit snow gotten heavier all of a sudden ..... bucketing it down

No, doesn;t look like much on the river. Maybe a pic of a road would've been better lol.:)

finally the heavy stuff has landed! Roll on. Roll up.

I spent most of today looking out the window thinking it'll stop soon and I will post on Boards how much snow we have had but honestly since about 9am this morning it has not STOPPED here in Firhouse.......

We have about 1.5-2 feet I reckon.......and it's still going.......

This is much MUCH worse better than the last snow deeper deeper deeper and much more sustained.....

Anyone in work who can leave must do so - it will be chaos and dangerous out here as soon as temps begin to really drop.....

    Stay safe everyone.

    Open the wine/beer/Cidona!!!!
