Getting a bit worried that this arc will push north and take us out of the firing line here (D15). Although I guess one shouldn't be greedy...but it would be a shame, cos it will probably deliver a lot of snow this evening.

I would agree with you that it is generally moving a bit more north but the snow front is so wide i think it will still hit us.

Same here in Arklow,it's incredibly crazy, flakes the size of dinnerplates in a grey leaden sky just coming straight down.
We reckon we've close to a foot now.

Do you reckon it's heading our way - Up to Newtownmountkennedy?

If anyone has watched The Matrix (revolutions)

Doesnt the precipitation out in the Irish sea remind you of the sentinels when they were about to smash in to Captain Mifune on the dock!

Wow, the sky is an amazing colour right now. A very distinct orange grey. Maybe it's just all the street lights coming on or something, dunno :P

edit - snow just turned very heavy again.

Quiet in D3 at the moment wouldn't put money on it staying that way though by the looks of things.

'Tis gone so dark here that I can't tell if its snowing or not? All I can see are the Christmas lights on the house across the road, and a couple of cars outside.
