Anyone else notice the two smiling snow monsters on the met.ie rainfall radar at 16:45? There at the north most point of the front and look like they're laughing before they drop another sh1t load on the east coast.

I be leaving in 90mins to make it from Ballycoolin to Chapelizod. Should be fun, the mother lives in Carpenterstown so have the option of dumping the car there. Going down the Knockmaroon hill will be fun.

I reckon Blanchardstown needs to be renamed to Snowville.

I had just finished clearing snow away from outside my place 30 minutes ago and now about 4cms has fallen undoing all my hard work.

Looks like there will still be a quiet period tonight, with another huge wack of the Wales cloud hitting the east coast around 2/3am

    Yes.

The bad weather will end eventually but if you are living on the east coast and look at the animation on DMI site, then you could well be waiting ;)

Listen to traffic reports, that hill might be closed, as well as several of the park gates.

Well I reckon if I go down backwards I will be alright, doubt many drivers will be brave enough to use it.
