Would it be unreasonable to expect the the welsh streamer to come as far as the north east(more specifically South Monaghan)?

Things look like they might quieten down for a short while for Dublin CC, with the next huge wave coming along in the middle of the night.

Speak for yourself! Looks like it's hooking back around to the southside. Hasn't stopped here (just light).

This is still developing. Anything could happen on the east coast tonight.

I've been away for a while.
What's the update on that Welsh system? More for east coast? will it make it inland if so?

    How's that SW system doing?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,080 ✭✭✭homolumo

Damn you Dublin you are hogging all the snow. We have got a snow shield and Dublin seems to have a snow magnet dragging in all the good stuff from the Irish Sea.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,682 ✭✭✭LookingFor

Well, we've definitely surpassed the amount of snow we had in the cold snap a couple of weeks ago. And that was, at the time, more than we'd ever had I think. At least in my memory.

    Still coming down here.

Latest radar shows a slot of precip looks like it will hit the CC say in 1hr.

Looks alright again for much of Dublin the radar.

Cork city looks like it will escape. Sure we still have snow from Friday night sitting on the ground. So any weather people geniuses(not sunbabe08), Care to bet on cork's chances ? Can see cloud on the south part of the county but nothing here in the city and northside. Ballincollig was meant to get snow but haven't heard anything yet. To the Dublin lads enjoy the snow.

  • Registered Users Posts: 70 ✭✭Pastel_Princess
