    i work in the airport and they make a pigs ear of it the whole time.finlands main airport hasnt closed due to weather in 30 years.they treat passengers like crap

    Savage snow still in Castleknock, D. 15. I hear Dublin Airport has close to a foot of the stuff and some of it is drifting.

    Yeah I think so. Nobody mentions that Dublin has 4000ft less of runway than say Heathrow. Braking action is critical.

    Well it's rain here for me and i live about 10 minutes from the airport. Just out in the backyard and it's def rain. Doubt it will stay like that though.

    Right thats it. I already vowed never to give the Isle of Man any more of my tourist Euros after the early Dec event. Hollyhead/Angelsey, thats you scratched off my tourist destination list too!! :D

    See all the raintoday radar images posted. Whats the common thread?? You can still read the Bray and Greystones town labels on the Maps :(
