Well as long as you are sorted that's fine. Never mind those people who need to travel or the elderly.

    quite a ( very!!)heavy shower in Arklow

  • Registered Users Posts: 137 ✭✭xTanyax

Just stopped now in Dublin 12 but it was Very Very heavy! Skys are getting brighter now and the clouds have cleared.

I thought it was starting to thaw earlier on actually, seen a few lumps dropping off the tree's in the garden and off the car roof but then it suddenly got dark and the snow was the heaviest i've seen so far!

I wonder will we be in for anymore of the same today/tonight..

.....And conversely, how come Bray is getting hit so little, is it by chance or another scientific reason :D

That said, I am glad we are in the IOM shadow all day in Bray. Not that I don't want snow, I do. Its just that with positive DP's if I got the streamers north and south are getting, I'd have lashing rain/sleet and all my lying snow would already be gone. The Thaw is sad enough as it is.

Now as soon as the evening comes and temps and DP's drop here in Bray. I want that IOM shadow gone and want in on some of that Rathfarnham and Greystones/Wicklow action! :D
