just read MT's latest forecast for the weekend and it seems a bit over the top.
Hes predicting nearly 50cms of snow for wicklow over the weekend
cant see it happen meself but it would be nice.
Is there anyone lse on here that believes that much snow will hit anywhere over the weekend???

Can anyone around Mallow/Charleville let me know what the road conditions are like there?

mallow is not too bad yet. i'd say main M20 road won't be too bad.

So not fair, the South East needs a touch up of more snow! The North is really getting hit hard now going from what I can see on the latest charts.. I wreckon it would be better off down here with us in the SE! :p

    I'm a bit confused here...

The www.sat24.com site has a bit heavy cloud over ulster that is heading & rotating in a SE direction, but all other images from other sites have little happening by way of snow for the east...

Not all cloud produces precipitation. What to happen tonight is all that mass up to the northeast will rotate anticlockwise and tumble down but the conditions wont allow it to dissapate quite so much as it is now hence the widespread snowfall predicted by the forecasters.

Spoken like a man that has never dealt with an 8 1/2 month pregnant lady:D

AT 8 1/2months you probably need to able to drive the car at short notice!
