not much to report here in monaghan town woke up to about 2 inches of snow which rapidly cleared due to thaw and had a few very light snow showers lasting 5 mins at best, temperature now not that cold and still a good thaw

Galway North East (in and around Ballinasloe) only got a light sprinkling today but its just starting to pick up now again. LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW...............:p

NO NO NO! There needs to be no snow here so that the Fair on Sunday can go ahead, take it back, right now!:P

It's not so bad around my house today, snow on the grass and stuff but the roads are still clear. A few mad flurries at about 4.30pm which were pretty, I'm still kind of unrealistically hoping that it won't get any worse :(
