    Enjoy every moment of it.

You've waited for ages and have been so enthusatic.

    Enjoy :D

Still can't quite believe it!! It's been snowing for at least an hour now and there is a lot on the ground (by my standards anyway) the big problem is our road - disaster - cars skidding everywhere and where it joins the main road - well let's not even go there....

Amazing how localised snow can be - its pelting snow 100 metres away from here and barely dust here

not much to report here in monaghan town woke up to about 2 inches of snow which rapidly cleared due to thaw and had a few very light snow showers lasting 5 mins at best, temperature now not that cold and still a good thaw

NRA N2 report is -0.8C, not very cold, but hardly a "good thaw":confused:

Light snow here in Firhouse - pah a mere smidgen (about 0.5cm) in comparison to the truckloads we had the last time......
I'll only get excited if we get a proper blizzard and at least 3 foot of snow....;)
(Note to Corkonians - a heavy pasting of snow then makes u very blase about anything less than a foot......)

    Yup.

Sure our frost this morning was heavier than anything they've got in Cork.

Reports on local radio here of abandoned cars all over the place.
    Epic:D

TAXI companies are reporting difficulties in parts of the city, one stuck in Mayfield. Shops in MP are closing now all late opening cancelled.

    Fire & Ambo quite.

Nearly impassible is becoming a common phrase on the radio now, any cars working. My word and we've only got a pinch of snow.

decent flakes coming down properly again in johnstown, navan. got to rebuild the main pc tho as it had a bit of a shit fit and i had to flatten it. :(

actually, could put the webcam on the htpc out downstairs instead for a different angle.

Just got all excited - 8 yr old came downstairs and shouted 'mama - have you seen outside - everything is getting white!' - we all ran to the door - nothing - just bone dry road and frost on the cars! sigh

We've had 4 flakes of snow here.

Overall the system seems to have toned down abit.

The best hope for the east, it shunts south, winds fling east ;)
