Cork has been getting some serious abuse in the national thread , sure it might not snow much down there, leave it at that. Up until the the last few easterly cold spells I used to think it never snowed in Dublin.

Snowing heavy on & off all evening since 5-ish.

Took dogs out around 9pm...our tracks were almost covered within 10mins which was pretty impressive.
Over an inch I'd say, but not quite 2"

    Currently -0.5

Do we have to put up with a particular character on here that has nothing to add but wind up Cork folk.
    Surely enough is enough:confused:

Yeah it's pretty cold out there! I let the dog out a few minutes ago and the coldness hurt :) Only a thin layer here too, but whatever falls seems to be sticking.

I've just driven from Ashbourne to Navan (and am about to make the return journey) and there is some snow settling on the roads, even the N2. This means that the ice that was already on the back roads is hidden, so be careful if you're out driving.

Is Wexford and Wicklow the only place without snow at the moment?

I was driving earlier and the back roads were pretty well covered with snow.

Possibly not as much as what we had a few weeks ago though.
