hi anyone take the Networking Exam today for LAN Switching & Wireless ?

if so i had 3 question that really got me thinking,

    1. Diameter Issues with Spanning-Tree

    2. What is Port-Fast Command

    3. Vlans the same as Subnet

for Diameter Issues with Spanning-Tree, i just stated the 500 meter cable problem that Spanning-Tree would Sent out a BDPU's and would take to long to get one back so it would Send another one out creating a Loop.

for What is Port-Fast Command i just stated that not all Cisco switches can handle RSTP so STP is used by default and for some one to use RSTP they would have to use STP, and if you have 3 switches 2 that could handle RSTP and one that can only handle STP the 2 RSTP would have to drop their speed to match the older Cisco Switch,

for Vlans the same as Subnet
i said in some ways yes they both only send board cast packets within their own Subnet or Vlan but the main difference is that Vlans can send packets out side their own Vlan by means of Inter-Vlan Routing.

are they right in some way ?
