    Havent read the thread but going to post anyway.

    Mary Byrne - Brilliant. Never heard her before, lovely person, fantastic voice.

    Rubberbandits - Lame. We will have forgotten about them by next Christmas (but cf Johnny Logan below)

    Johnny Logan. Jesus ****. How low are RTE prepared to stoop.

    My incapacity to underestimate RTE producers is disappointing & is now affecting my self esteem. 25 years ago I said the same thing about logan that I have stated about the Rbs above.

    So, I guess on my past performance there is at least an even money chance the rubberbandits could be on the late late in 20 years time.
