Lashing here. Hopefully it won't hit Midlands and Reggies hay. Lots of lads knocked around us Friday. Poor bags of grass im afraid with the forecast. I was tempted to cut 3 acres Saturday. Glad I left it.

It's gas the way it goes.

I'd say we have had the wettest weather in weeks since Saturday. Some rain every day, heavy enough at times. And it's been fierce cloudy every day. No weather for cutting anything (mighty on grass growth tho)

But tis weather for hay in the midlands

fella i know had hay ready like that a few years ago, got fed up waiting for baling contractor, so decided to pull out silage wagon minus knives and got it into shed with help of silage pike on loader just before it poured , intended to bale when time allowed which he didn't, fed it to cattle with grab.

I was up around north Meath coming dark and came across a heavy shower, seemed to cover a fair area too.
Nice bit of hay down in the area too. Hope tomorrow's a scorcher to make up for it.
