Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Didn't get all the turf lifted in the first start, heavens opened with t&l about 1:30.
We had a couple of hours of that and the bog no place to be in them conditions.
Went back around 5:30 and have just finished up. It actually was pleasently cooler and fresher in the after storm conditions and still nice and sunny now

Warm and overcast all day in cork. We had a shower earlier today, but it hardly wet the ground...

Saturday here was glorious, yeaterday and today were very overcast all day... No huge sunshine, but very good days all the same...

Was in Newry today and it was hot and sunny a good bit of the time too. Savage day.

Back in Cavan ins it's overcast with thunderstorms passing, not much rain yet but feels like there could be a downpour any minute.

Feck it, thunder and lightening towards Howth, the dogs are barking the place down just as I was getting settled to go to bed. Could be a long night:(

I was thinking of you lot with this thunder and lightening, it's unusual for Ireland to get it. Does it affect livestock?

Was talking to OH and it was a lot worse there. Heavy downpours throughout the day and lots of thunder/lightening tonight.
Only two showers of rain so far here today, one this morning and the other about an hour ago.

Not really although I would hate to have fertile eggs set.
Biggest danger with lightening is if it earth's near stock - http://www.farmersjournal.ie/freak-lightning-strike-kills-21-cattle-in-the-us-210204

    lashing rain here now

    Rain here at times.
Going to figure out tomorrow how much second cut silage I need to make.
Think I might make a bit extra just in case.

Back to the weather it looks like a small bit of high pressure for the weekend.
Then what they're saying is a chance the Azores high could come up the last week of June and into July. Hard to shift if it does. Still all up in the air though.;):)

Yeah, pretty much shower after shower with a good long spell of rain midday in NL today. Noticably cooler too. Time to turn off the tap now, silage will be ready next week.

    Yea it's late here.

Along our road there's very little stuff cut at all, only one other lad that cut last week. Cold late spring has seen it pushed on.

Ours was 7 weeks sown Saturday, would be better cut a week earlier but weather didn't agree.

Were you past my house yesterday?
Herself went shopping leaving instructions for lawn to be cut, I went down the local to watch the soccer and forgot the lawn, started it in the dry about 5ish but it rained here soon after, had to have it finished before she got back, got drowned.
Jaez it looks great today, cant believe it.

Parents council normally run one on a sunday and then the school have their own one on a school day. Dont know how the school one will work this year as there's a new school being built and nearly no play area all year

Youngest and I turned the boat and sheltered with our backs to the rain in a cove on the lake from a 10/15 min downpour.
    Didn't catch anything after.
