Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Started rating at four yesterday afternoon and hasn't stopped, still raining. Good spell ended with a washout.

I could see it turning very dark over in Cavan alright, thought it would hit us but no. Rained on-off all night but nothing too heavy at all.

Calm here in Cork and dry. Let cows onto the heavy ground. Half regretting it now as they are doing a bit of poaching but if I don't get some grass off it now it'll be next April with heavier covers and less hungry cows. The extra few days down there may give me some leeway to keep me out that bit longer

Same here, 4 days grazing heavier ground with a bit of damage ahead but much more rain and it would have to be grazed by calves or sheep.

Another 4-5 days of heavy ground left to graze but I can't see it being grazed this year if we get much more rain.

I'll be putting autumn yearlings into the rest of it fri I'd say, access isn't great so ill give the cows what they can get tho handy and pull em out then. Rest of our heavier ground has much better access and drainage is a bit better so should manage that with the wire and on /off once we don't get a lot of rain

Power hosing and disinfecting nearly all wrapped up here. We've had 9 great dry days on the trot including today since the monsoon of last Monday and Tuesday.

Some of the guys were talking about this today. Meteor shower seemed to be the presumption, between six and seven.

Heavy rain in Dublin this morning between about seven and nine.

    Summer is over me thinks

There was thunder and lightning a while ago here. Raining atm.
Seemingly a big power outage in the area.
But the power is still on here.
Must be on a different line.

Do not go outside and look at lightning.

    The aurora borealis.
There was a strong solar windstorm last night.
I went out to look at it last night but could see nothing here.

They should give greeny hues in the sky or even red in very strong conditions.

People pay a lot of money to see it in the arctic.
