Epson compatible inks not working

u have a epson stylus sx 115 multiplication device that used to work with generic ink cartridges that i bought from a seller at amazon called 'myinklink'. Though for the past 2 times these new cartridges no longer work...will i have buy genuine epson ink from now on?

what is going on?

Sorry for sounding smug. But you should've bought genuine from the get go. Have you tried searching any forums on the Epson site?

I know this link is for Mac. But the Epson software on Windows should be similar.

Genuine inks tend to be a bit of a rip off, (that's how the manfacturers make there money) and don't have half as much volume, so spurious ones are better from both a fiscal and practical POV.

You can usually do the head cleaning from the machine itself.
