The creation of Mt.Mayon in the Philippines. Accordjng to the legend, there lived a beautiful maiden named Magayon. One of her suitors was Pagtuga who, inspite of showering her with gifts, she rejected. She met another man, Pangaronon or in some stories, Ulap(cloud). He saved her from being drowned. Eventually, they fell in love. The news of their marriage angered Pagtuga. He kidnapped her father and threatened her that he would kill him if she did not marry him. On the day of their marriage, Pangaronon tried to save Magayon. The two men fought and Pangaronon fatally wounded Pagtuga. As the two lovers were about to rejoice and embrace each other, Pagtuga struck her with his poisonous arrow. While Pangaronon was kneeling beside her, one of Pagtuga's men stabbed him. Magayon's father decided to burry them together. Then, people noticed that the place they were burried were getting bigger. They said that everytime clouds reach the peak of the volcano, it was him kissing her.Also that every time the volcano erupts it was Pagtuga trying to separate them.

In Dundee in Scotland, about 100 yards from where the computer games company DMA Design was based there is a small park, with two pillars at the entrance. And at one of the pillars are some small bronze statues of one of their most famous creations.

DMA Design's most famous game is probably Grand Theft Auto. I wonder why they didn't commission a statue for that?0 -

World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen (then aged 19), playing 10 games simultaneously, while not being allowed to look at any of the boards.
He won them all, of course, and said that if, on occasion, he forgot how a board was positioned, he would just replay every move from the start in his head, which took him 'about 30 seconds.'
