can i find out who reported me?

    hi everyone, hoping someone can help me. Basically i was accused of child sexual abuse and now have been cleared, after been told by some social worker that while there were concerns i am innocent and they are finished investiagtion and that i should start to get back to normal. when i asked who reported me, she said she wouldnt tell me. i am just wondering if i have a right to know who was behind these malicous accusations. while i admit now that i basically pulled the waistband of the childs trousers and they may have moved an inch or so down, i never pulled them down or interfered with the child, i was only messing with the child and apartantly the child said i was pulling them down.

    You need legal advice, under the child protection act they don't disclose who made such a report but if you want to know and to take action after the false accuaction then you need to get a solicitor.
