Conspiracy theory: Games called off by FIFA to force a winter break which means they can move the Qatar World Cup to Dec/Jan.

Cattermole is such a gob****e at times,

didn't need to do that and picks up another suspension.

Cahill gets a yellow for getting the ball. And then not even a free for Elmander :pac: What a farce.

    Cattermole.

Should have been a free on the edge of the area for Sunderland there, Welbeck fouled and no advantage gained, poor from the ref.

Are you presuming that Chelsea FC called off the game and not the metropolitan police as happened in many other games? Its likely not the pitch that is the problem so I would imagine its the approach roads/footpaths and transport problems that is the main factor

The club are part of the consultation process, think it's fair to question if strategic reasons are influencing their decision.

    From Daniel Taylor (Guardian):
"All sorts of reports from #Chelsea/Fulham of conditions outside SB 'not bad at all' 'only slushy' 'pavements well gritted' etc #mufc #hmm"

    BLACKBURN v WEST HAM

Blackburn: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Nelsen, Givet, Emerton, Mame Diouf, Dunn, Pedersen, El-Hadji Diouf, Roberts. Subs: Bunn, Kalinic, Mwaruwari, Hoilett, Jones, Olsson, Hanley.

West Ham: Boffin, Ben-Haim, Tomkins, Upson, Gabbidon, Barrera, Parker, Dyer, Behrami, Piquionne, Boa Morte. Subs: Larkins, Reid, Cole, McCarthy, Spector, Faubert, Stanislas.

Looks like a 4-4-2 for Blackburn for Kean's first match in charge. Boffin makes his debut in the West Ham goal for the injured Green.

West Ham terrible on the road, Blackburn's best form at Ewood.

A massive game for both teams involved, Blackburn need a win to push away from relegation zone and get a good start under Kean, Grant needs a win in the next 3 to keep his job.

He is a fantastic player, I have seen him play quite a few times at the Stadium of Light, today was on the telly, but whether he is played on the left or played up front he always puts in a great shift. His pace is a major attribute that he uses well, but he is a very intelligent player in terms of his positioning.

It will be interesting to see if Sunderland try to sign him permanently and what the response will be.

Yeah, I'd hate to be the Match of the Day editing team, be like trying to get blood from a stone getting highlights out of this......so far.

How did setanta get commentators to the game so quick, do they have a private jet or are they commentating in a studio?

If the beeb have any sense they'll just cancel the programme and hope West Brom v Wolves contains plenty of action for MOTD2.

****ing Samba could have at least tried to run it off for another 4 minutes surely.

Out and out disaster this weekend.

    Another injury for Blackburn,

Hopefully Samba and Jones' injuries are not too serious,

    Grant Hanley on for Jones.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,328 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Scott Parker dances through the Blackburn defense,

Deflects off Givet, out to Stanislas who slots it home.

West Ham look more likely to win it.
