Can you move your number to meteor if you order online?

    Looking at their online shop it asks you if you want to "Move your number to meteor" or "Get a new number" when you go to buy a handset. This would lead one to believe that you could indeed move your number to meteor from another network if you order online.
    But I was in a meteor shop today and the sales assistant told me that you couldnt. He said you would have to get a brand new number.
    So was he telling porkies or is the online store??

    the phone arrives with a new number, but you just move your number to that sim by calling them or going into the shop with the new phone and your old phone and sim
