how to play the lotto?

im looking for basic rules on how to use the lotto. Basically need a simple outline as I've no idea but happened to do a quick pick this week for the sake of it. and now need a bit of guidance because im not sure of the details and this makes the difference between me having won 15 euro and 350 euro!!

Have you gone to your local newsagent with the winning ticket and exclaimed "go johnny go-go" to the clerk behind the counter? If not then this may effect your final winning amount. Of course that depends on whether your remembered to double-down on go all-in on your initial purchase.
