Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, not sure if this is the right place for this??

Bought a new tv and I need to find the code for it to be able to operate it with the sky remote.

Its a Grundig GU37fhd, and I have the sky+ package if that makes any difference. I've been looking around and have tried all the codes for Grundig on the sky info page.

    Anyone any suggestions?
    Thanks

Press the sky button at the top of your remote and then press the tv button

Then press the red button and the select button at the same time, if you do this properly a red light will flash twice on your remote,

    This bit is important

You then press the tv button and then press the power off button, keep repeating this step untill the tv switches off and then press select on the remote this holds the code that you have found.

These steps will work on most remotes. Hope this helps

If its an older Sky remote it might not have codes for your new TV.
Open the battery compartment and there should be a sticker with Rev.2 or something similar printed on it.

You can get the newest version remote in the likes of powercity or currys for about €15.
Contact sky first to see if the newest remotes support your TV.

I have the newest remote rev8, had to get another one earlier this year after the small man got sick on the old one!
Tried all the tips and nothing is working yet, really must get round to ringing sky, just the thoughts of it...

If that doesn't work, try this.

Remove batteries from remote. Leave for an hour or so. Less might do, but an hour is good to be on the safe side. Replace batteries and try codes again. Worked for me one time - albeit with a different make of TV. Might work for you, too. Hope it does.

    you dont need a code

    1.press t.v
2.hold t.v and red button untill the red light flashes twicenon sky remote
3.then keep pressing t.v and the standby button simultaneosly when t.v turns off press the select button to store the code

works on all t.vs theres no need for a code
