St.patricks day - a day where we celebrate being irish. theres nothing to celebrate anymore - the country is sinking. to all those abroad - is any way you can do anything to cancel st.patricks day celebrations. maybe it might send a message to the people of ireland to get up and fight for this country. people wont even protest here for goodness sake.

Cancel? No way! I hope to be visiting and celebrating with relatives that live immediately north of Chicago. The parade down the Magnificent Mile is a classic, they dye the river green, and the pubs on Rush overflow with fun party people well beyond the bewitching hour.

Heck no! We celebrate those who escaped the emerald isle. St. Paddy’s day in Jim Thorpe, PA (old Mauch Chunk) is quite the experience. They hanged the Molly Maguires there you know. Now that was a bunch of good ole time immigrant miners who didn’t take misery and mistreatment lying down. They cut my scene (as an extra in the courthouse segment) out of the movie... the bastards!
