Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah, there's a socket for it in the back of the skybox-it say's ariel in under it.There's your problem solved.Simply tune in channel 1 on your tv to RTE1,channel 2 as RTE2 etc. If the skybox is connected via scart then the 'sky channels' will be under av1 usually (depends which scart socket in the tv you use)

No - A Sky box does not have a tuner for Analogue or DTT. It is only a loop through or RF out. The tuner for RTE etc. is on your TV

No, the Sky box is just a Satellite Receiver. It doesn't have a tuner connected to Aerial RF in.

The Sky box aerial in only connects to the Sky Box pair of aerial outs (RF1 and RF2) that have the rather noisy Sky Modulator added.

The Sky RF aerial connections are best ignored.

Read the op's first post-that's all he wanted as the RF in on the tv cannot be used so the loopthrough on the skybox was what he wanted to use. That's exactly what I have done on a second tv where I use a skybox for fta.

Hope I haven't got the wrong end of the stick....

If the Aerial socket on the TV is damaged, routing an aerial signal through a Sky box is not going to help.

One possible solution is to connect your antenna to an old VCR / DVD-Recorder with built-in tuner. Connect the Recorder to your TV via SCART. Use Recorder to tune RTE etc...

If the OP just wants to watch Sky on a second TV then, yes, RF output 2 + magic eye is a simple solution.

So where do you reckon he should "loop through" to ?

I would assume that on your setup you have used RF1 or RF2 out and connected that to the aerial in connection on your TV, which the OP doesn't have.

    Agreed.
If he has no access to RF in on TV, the Sky RF in is useless.
