Anichebe was just about to be subbed too! Time to park the blue bus

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

just before he was about to be hauled off by the manager, sickner for the Everton fans

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,134 ✭✭✭x in the city

wtf is he doing, he shouldnt even be on the first X1

    sell the f|cker moyes...!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,332 ✭✭✭the untitled user

Has Anichebe done anything in this game other than getting himself sent off?

To be fair to him, he was the one who originally got behind the City defence for the second goal. He seems an utter headcase though, what was he thinking?

Ah ffs, stupid foul when you're on a yellow.

That's going to set up the last half hour for attack vs defence.

I have to be honest, I have not seen two softer yellow cards in such quick succession in a long time.

I think that is terrible reffing and a damning indictment of the modern game.

he warning howard , and doesnt book zabaletta for the challenge on osman , brutal reffin

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,134 ✭✭✭x in the city

There were two retarded tackles IMO.

not sure if they warranted a red but ...

    Short sighted logic ftl.

Read his post again. He said ''on a cold night like this''. Don't see what the rest of the season has to do with it.

The first yellow was fully deserved. Absolutely no need to go jumping into a keeper. Second one was deserved too.

City have gone to crap since the sending off.

    We will agree to disagree.

There is no way a prefessional footballer should be actually expelled from a match for those two incidents alone.

The first one was a foul - nothing more. If it hadn't been a goalkeeper then nobody would have batted an eyelid - honestly, no high foot or anything just a mild shoulder.

Two challenges that didnt need to be made either, the player is more culpable IMO...

Man City have had 70% of possession and have taken 22 shots.

Because they've been cold nights for weeks and the choice of clothing has meant fuck all.

    Get in!!!

    Was definitely coming.

This is going to be an interesting last 18 minutes!

In both cases he made no attempt to play the ball. There have been worse tackles gone unpunished for sure, but no way you can argue at the two yellows.

City will win this, Im sure of it.

    Bullsh1t.

First challenge was an attempted block.

Second challenge looked like a reasonably honest attempt to play the ball to me.

To see grown men defend that red really worried me. Man's game and all that.

    No chance. Draw at best.

Zabaleta might not have the ability, but boy that guy has heart.

Can see Everton's resistance crumbling, can see it ending in a draw, not enough time for City to get a winner.

    Good man, Seamus.

If you want to watch people pummel the crap out each other there's always rugby. I'd rather watch football myself, but to each his own...

Neither player was in a Dangerous position from Evertons perspective....
Although i sympathise I would be pissed at the player if he played for my lot

Mr. Sky Sports told us it was 17 shots a few minutes ago.

Some scramble there, was sure it was in.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,169 ✭✭✭JohnnyRyan99

Are you serious? You'd consider those two challenges akin to watching players "pummel the crap out of each other"?

Hibbert on, draw nailed now nailed on.

Jo on, loss nailed now nailed on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

    for..............?

Balloteli lifted the ball over Howard, taken out of it. Ball hits post, no advantage, penalty, or am I misreading the laws of the game?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,169 ✭✭✭JohnnyRyan99

Just sensational keep ball from City there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,814 ✭✭✭Nemanja91

Has Jo been injured in saying that his last prem goal was April 2009?
