Lightening Arrester for Consumer Unit?

    I just had about €600 worth of damage to electronic equipment (and narrowly escaped a fire) due to a nearby lightening surge on the mains.

    Is there anything reasonably easy to install that I can get that will install into the main Consumer Unit ("Fuse board") that offers some future protection?

    I've replaced and installed MCBs before...
