    Rules
    - Game Design of the Year on any machine or console!
    - It can be a control system, a gameplay mechanic, a game structure - something that made the game stand out due to something design related.
    - Wii/NDS/360/PS3/PSP/PS2/PC/IPOD.
    - No more than 3 Nominations per person, please.
    - Please specify the game(s) and the console(s) they are on.
    - If related to a game, the game must have been released on or after January 1st 2010 (search for the game on www.gamefaqs.com and look at the data tab for a release date).
    - Nominations of Games for all regions are applicable, except Wii games and some 360 games (PAL Only). Use one of the following sites to check if its region free. url=http://www.play-asia.com]Play Asia[/url | Video Games Plus].
    - Top 6-8 will go forward for the Vote (exact number dependant on number of nominations received).
    - Just one more batch of categories after this. Then its time to vote!

    Heavy Rain on PS3 - exciting action set-pieces, thrilling and disturbing storyline and and excellent context sensitive gameplay came together to make a brilliant and truly interactive movie experience.

    Lego Harry Potter - Years 1-4 on xbox360 - Excellent fun and brilliant puzzle design made for a game that was great fun to play.

    Alpha Protocol on PC - an underrated gem of a game. It's what James Bond games should have been like.

    VVVVVV - one main gameplay move (apart from basic movement), and ****ing owns it. Game design win.
    Mass Effect 2 - a story that genuinely feels like it is influenced by the player and their decisions.
