- The What The F**k Were They Thinking Award on any machine or console.
- A potentially great game ruined by a stupid design idea (bad camera, bad checkpoints, a cheap boss battle, a stupid ending....)
- Wii/NDS/360/PS3/PSP/PS2/PC/IPOD.
- No more than 3 Nominations per person, please.
- Please specify the game(s) and the console(s) they are on.
- If related to a game, the game must have been released on or after January 1st 2010 (search for the game on www.gamefaqs.com and look at the data tab for a release date).

Lionhead's decision to "simplify" Fable 3 on xbox360 - Removing all Menues and reducing the number of items you can buy in shops? Making a map that doesn't actually reflect the location your in, and so is pretty much useless? Pretty much taking everything that was good in the previous games and throwing it all out?

Ubisoft's DRM on PC - which needed constant access to the internet. And if you didn't have access, you couldn't play.

Splinter Cell: Convition on xbox360 - Making it so that stealth didn't matter too much really destroyed everything that the previous games had built up. It wasn't like a Splinter Cell game at all.

People that say FF13 is crap. It's a great game with one of the best battle systems ever.

Final Fantasy XIII - Having you run down an endless corridor for 20+ hours.
Final Fantasy XIII - Combat system. When the lead character dies the its game over regardless of whether other party members are alive or not.

Danny Trejo with 2 lovely pastel shaded glowing move wands talking tough in The Fight Lights Out for the PS3. Seriously WTF!

Already mentioned but Sony trying to pass of shipped to retail units as sold units to consumers.

Microsoft rushing out 2 big-ish games when they were totally undercooked and needed some more time in development. (Crackdown 2 and Fable 3)

Crackdown 2 - Same City, nothing new, not counting the sh1te multiplayer, same game really.

Fable III - most boring game of the year, they simplified the life and soul out of it.

The Force Unleashed II. Why? Its about a 3rd the length of the 1st game. A totally unjustified return for Starkiller.

Enslaved ending cutscene - an impressive, well told, character-driven story, and then the most random, tonally suspect and out of place ending you could imagine that undid much of the good that came before it.

Metroid Other M - Turning one of the strongest female characters ever into a weak, submissive bimbo who can't even use her abilities unless her father figure says so... Ugh!

- Fable 3: Creating their own definition for the word 'Choice' and then making a game based around it.Oh and its got some of the worst clipping issues I've ever seen outside of a Bethesda game.

- Ea releasing Medal of Honor broken and then basically admitting that they knew it was a pile of ****e. 'Its only the first stage'

-Any reviewer giving Medal Of Honor more then 6/10.

- Activision making a sequel to Prototype

Heavy rain! A dull episode of Law and Order/CSI/Criminal Minds, but instead of just twiddling your thumbs the old fashioned way you get to twiddle them over a PS3 controller!

Not released yet.. but what have they done to what was such a promising franchise? The trailer comes off as some cheap B movie rubbish and it sounds like the game mechanics have been ruined. Monolith must be aghast at what has become of FEAR.
