Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Iphone Call Failed

    my phone seems to be doing this alot on the car kit and also the handset itself

    its an iphone 4 with the latest software 4.2

    when it fails during a call , the reception bar is perfect

    any ideas , solutions

    my partner is also on vodafone (payg) with an iphone4 and this happens frequently with him too! we just assumed because he was driving his signal dropped and came back, but maybe its a bigger issue?

    mods can we get this moved to the vodafone forum please?

    also im fairly sure (not 100% though) that payg do not get compensated for dropped calls, only bill pay do!

    Hi all,

    "having a very strange problem. I recently upgraded to the OS 4.. I have the Iphone 3G locked on to Vodafone India.

    I seem to receive calls and text messages very easily. But my outgoing calls dont work at all. I constantly get the Call Failed error. I checked some blogs and i figured out that it was probably something to do with the caller id status on my phone. I got the problem fixed but now for me to use the phone, I have to go into settings--> phone --> Show My Caller ID and just simply check the status and not touch a thing.. then my outgoing starts again... and the moment i restart the phone, same problem comes back.. and reiterate again."

    Just posted this solution from some other forum...it works!!! but you have to set your caller id everytime you switchoff/on your iphone..
    Hope we get a permanent solution soon..
