I doubt it's because of clubbing tbh, 1. because he looks about 30 so it's not as if he needs it, and 2. He Ledley fcuking King, no club would turn away a premiership footballer even if he was 17..

Back for the weekend bar any complications or set backs we are hoping he's rested for Wales midweek. Hopefully the break does him the world of good as well.

Ledley King has undergone groin surgery in Germany this morning (Tuesday).

Our club captain will fly back home later today and is expected to return to training in two weeks

Is there a website that shows our missing players and ETA on when they'll be match fit? Like on a handy one page layout?

I put a link to it a while back in the Spurs v Aston match thread. Always found it very handy for my fantasy football team.

More importantly, I'm guessing that VDV is out for Sunderland this weekend. Thats not good.

Hopefully, but they reported Bale had a bit of a setback when his training was upped.

Jonathan Woodgate has sustained a strain of the left Adductor muscle, a scan has confirmed this evening (Wednesday, February 16).

The centre-back suffered the injury after coming on as a substitute in last night's Champions League Round of 16 victory over AC Milan and will now be assessed over the coming days.

Cursed is what I'd say. Himself and Ledley, have to be the worst two sicknotes in the PL.

A re occurance of the previous injury or a new one? If its the same site as the last one he could be finished, hopefully its unrelated to the previous one.

I checked the team news and the bench we had v A.C. and he wasn't anywhere to be seen they mentioned our long term injuries stayed at Home but they didn't include him in that list?

Just to add we can't recall walker but may be able to recall Naughton or Caulker if we get anymore injuries.

according to head over at COYS - he's not injured - some saying he is getting treatment though.

some cryptic clues about the rumours
he's been taking lessons of Adrian Mutu eusa_whistle.gif and i dont mean football

    Lost his place to Charlie.

feel free to edit - delete if its too much mods

    Regards Hutton and his injury.
    Story no. 1
He has a groin injury, been taking pain killing injections for it.

He picked up the groin injury in the Scotland game last week and has been out injured since.

    Story no.2.
There are internet rumours that Hutton and Redknapp have fell out. Claims of not wanting to travel, faking injury, taking a huff.
He was completely dropped for the game following the Fulham cup match and then back on the bench for the midweek game following.

Wow we really aren't being let off easily on the injury front. None of the injuries sustained to our key players have been short-term things, with the exception of Modric, though his was surgery rather than an injury. Really disappointed for Charlie as I thought he'd been excellent of late and has worked very well with Lennon.

This season is really testing our squad to the limit.

    Charlie update from club

Vedran Corluka will remain immobilised in a protective boot for the next four days after a scan determined that he had sprained part of his ankle joint capsule following a challenge from Mathieu Flamini during Tuesday’s Champions League Round of 16 first leg victory over AC Milan.

Following a clinical examination by a foot and ankle specialist this afternoon, it has been recommended that Vedran make a gradual return to training starting next week.

Should the Croatia international feel no ill effects of the injury during his gradual return to training then he should be back in full training in a few weeks.

Brilliant news. Heard today that according to (some rubbish) paper he had broken his foot and was ruled out for the season. Thank God he's not, we've already had enough injuries to last us till nest season.

Seeing as bale has been out for a while when he comes back I wonder what the odds are of him being refreshed? He was looking like he was low on gas in his last few matches so maybe when he comes back he can really tear into the league.

Really worried he's going to need surgery on his back those injuries are so hard to get rid of :(
