Greengage not fruiting

I planted a greengage 5 years ago and have not had any fruit. There are damsons nearby and I also recently (a year ago) planted a couple of victoria plums in the hope that they would help pollinate it but nothing yet... Any ideas what may be wrong, or how I can encourage it to fruit?
