    In defiance of what could generously be called better judgement, The Jimmy Cake are pleased to announce the gig in The Grand Social on Monday 27th of December is still going to happen. You’ll be thrilled to hear that, if you were planning on going, and even more thrilled if this is the first you’ve heard of it. The important thing is that you’ll have had enough turkey sandwiches and small talk at that stage of the Crimbo, and what better place to show off that newly minted Christmas jumper your better half bought/knitted/found on a frozen wino by the canal?

    Moaning about the weather is for jessies. Going to the gig, having a shandy, and engaging in a shouted conversation right up at the front of the stage while waving your arms around demonstratively is where it’s at. Don’t end 2010 as a loser. Do this instead.
