    I think the trick is to pitch it at a level where the pictures are not too easy and not too obscure. Also to update it within a short timeframe if no answers are forthciming, otherwise people lose interest.

    Well the answer to A was
    Brest Fortress
    A cracking good film. So was The Caine Mutiny but that was far easier with Humphrey Bogart

    Yes it is, playing the daughter of a White Russian emigre.

    The 1st one is not strictly WW2,though it has a ww2 element. Involves mercenaries in contemporary eastern europe surveying a TR -era research facility.
