Yep Kellys Heroes. The second is one of very few films to be set in South East Asia.

Would the second movie be, Merrill's marauders.

Those pics are very small to make out. Any chance of some clues to those ?

Is B - battle of the Bulge ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,268 ✭✭✭Tomohawk

A is it "Operation Crossbow?" No didn't think so, but why is the Czech flag hung up backwards on the wall?

    B is a real photo

    KTiger-506-Captured-Big.jpg
    the description
This Pz.Kpfw.Tiger Ausf.B, from the 2.Kompanie/schwere Panzer Abteilung 506 was captured by American troops and restored to running condition by Company B, 129th Ordnance Battalion by 15 December 1944.
im guessing they used a bit of archival footage during the film

also try searching for cuckoo, a captured Panther used by the british,
i wouldnt have liked to be near it with the amount of allied air activity.

Spot on Morlar, I knew they were too easy...your go next!

    Wahey :)

    ok Movie A
    attachment.php?attachmentid=142667&d=1294620650

    Movie B
    attachment.php?attachmentid=142668&d=1294620662

The clue for B is that both movies are connected.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,273 ✭✭✭Morlar

These may be a bit tricky.

So for clues I'll say one of these movies has already been featured.

Movie B shares a lead actor with movie A.

Movie B is from the very late 1960's euro cinema & features many main events such as reichstag fire and night of the long knives (as in the pic for movie B).

    Has A been featured already?
    Is B Italian made?
