    A- in which we serve
B- Looks like england but could that be 'Empire of the Sun' ?
Yes Empire of the sun. A is a naval movie but a different type of boat. Fairly popular film in it's genre for want of a better word.

Had to google it but I think it's 'We Dive at Dawn'

    Is it 'The Hood' ?
No I use the term 'boat' very loosely. Think of a different type of seagoing vessel that did battle during the war.

That big blond dude looks like Bo Svenson and I think this is the original Inglorious Bastards.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,273 ✭✭✭Morlar

Yep movie B is 'inglorious bastards'. Movie A is very loosely based on a true story.

I recognised Helmut Berger is it Salon Kitty.

Non picture clues . . . it is supposed to be based on Walter Schellenberg of the SD, but if you read his memoirs I can promise they are nothing like as interesting as this movie !! Some parts of the story are true however - this brothel really exsisted.

    Feckin Insomnia

heres the Blurb from the Official website of that Film I posted, in fairness if y'd seen it that Girl is fairly instantly recognisable
When two young American GIs desert their platoon in the final days of World War II, they will find themselves struggling against all odds to stay alive. Their strange and violent journey will bring them together with a band of orphans who are expertly trained killing machines in an attempt to defeat a Nazi battalion. With the perfect combination of horror and action, XXXXXXXX is a haunting and powerful war film that is unforgettable.

    Tis an Interestin Film,
