Android 2.2 Calendar and Google Calendar sync

    I have a LG Optimus One, android 2.2

    Use the Calendar (which I assume is the stock Android 2.2 Calendar to sync with my google Calendar, which in turn syncs with outlook

    From PC to phone I create an appointment in Outlook and it appears in phone Calendar, so all OK there

    On phone when i create an appointment ,I need to choose the following type "myid"@gmail.com instead of the "phone" Calendar. Is there a setting I can change so I don't need to choose the gmail Calendar every time (the default is phone Calendar, which doesn't sync to google Calendar)
