    Interesting article about the consequences of unregulated bouts.

    Videos are at the bottom of the article.
    Seems now as if it was just a ploy to get a rematch in the same promotion as it was ruled a NC by the promoter, but I'm sure Hermes will get the win on his official record.

    Lol when you fix a fight you really need to let the fighters or judges in on the scam before the fight is called at the end :D

    That's really unnecessarily harsh, what did Hermes Franca ever do to you? And what have you ever achieved in the sport? Have you fought and been on the wrong end of corruption like this?

    Even If it was any fighter, its still a case that needs addressing because any corruption in our sport needs to be stamped out.

    Would you call Caol Uno a washed up has been?
    On another point. He was only cut from the UFC because he lost 3 out of 4 fights. Can you tell me 2 of the fighters that bet him that are both lightweight champions? And since then he's had major personal issues, a bit like Paulo Filho. I just feel sad for fighters like this. They're not wash ups, they're victims of themselves and corrupt agents/promoters. :(

    I really hate that MMA is going the way of wrestling more and more.

    Hermes demolition of Manny Reyes is still a thing of beauty even to this day.

    Do you mean in terms of fixed fights and dodgy promoters? If anything it was a lot more prevalant in MMA in the past than it is now. It's not like this is a recent trend that never occured in MMA before
