UPC SMTP issue

    Hi All,

    Having trouble with UPC email at the moment, I haven't knowingly) (made any changes to my system. Tried telnetting smtp.upcmail.ie and it returns with a connect failed on port 23. open smtp.upcmail.ie 25 returns the same connect error as I get from windows live mail and outlook 2010:
    cannot connect to SMTP server 213.46.255.2, connect error 10060.

    Last mail successfully sent using outlook or windows live was on the 18th. I have sent mails using upc webmail so there wouldn't appear to be anything wrong with my account.

    Any help would be great

    the outgoing mail server for upc is smtp.upcmail.ie was that in it before?

    Yep, that's what I've always had but it hasn't worked for the last few days, I keep getting a cannot connect to SMTP server 213.46.255.2 connect error 10060 returned.

    I can ping the smtp server but I cannot send any messages.
