    RESET ROBOT BIOG

RESET ROBOT IS A RELATIVELY NEW NAME THAT WILL BE BECOMING INCREASINGLY FAMILIAR TO
FANS OF DUBBED-OUT, MOODY TECH HOUSE ALL OVER THE WORLD. HAVING RELEASED A SERIES
OF WELL-RECEIVED TRACKS ON KEY LABELS INCLUDING EXCENTRIC MUZIK; 8 SIDED DICE; AND
NOIR, RESET ROBOT BROKE THROUGH ON TO THE WORLDWIDE STAGE VIA TWO EP’S FOR DUBFIRE’S
SCI+TEC DIGITAL AUDIO IMPRINT. TO COMPLETE WHAT HAS BEEN AN AMAZING START TO HIS
    CAREER, KEY RELEASES HAVE FOLLOWED FOR 100% PURE; SOMA RECORDS; YO****OSHI; IVAV;
SPROUT AND SUARA AS WELL AS REMIXES OF BOOKASHADE, GREGOR TRESHER, MAURO PICOTTO
AND SECRET CINEMA. RESET ROBOT IS NOW SET TO LIFT OFF FROM THIS POSITION OF STRENGTH TO
BE RECOGNIZED AS A GENUINE FORCE IN TECH HOUSE.

For a story that is not that old, an astonishing amount has happened in the short life of Reset Robot. In
fact the wheels very nearly came off before the project had been given the chance to succeed. Having
deliberately set about the task of creating the android guise and devoting months of studio time to
crafting a specific sound, the stone-cold commercial mentality of Robot’s then management resulted in his
deal being cancelled. Spurred on by steely determination and undying confidence in the quality of his own
music, Reset Robot set out to finish what he had begun on his own. It was only then that the magic began
    to happen.

After circulating the half dozen or so tracks already completed amongst a small group of close DJ /
producer friends word of these vibrant and fresh sounding productions began to spread with a speed that
can only come with word-of-mouth. In a spectacularly short chain of events the tracks were out of the
studio and in to the hands of key tastemakers such as Dubfire, Nic Fanciulli and James Zabiela who were
all wowed by the energetic fusion of rolling, stripped-back grooves and warped big-room tech house of
the Reset Robot sound; a vibe that fits compact and neat into a post-minimal electronic music scene that
is searching to regain its warmth and soul.

The race to snap up these impressive tracks was now on. Never one to miss an opportunity to embrace
fresh talent, Dubfire boldly signed a staggering six tracks to his Sci+Tec label including the standout
tracks, Pig Nose and Snippa. Soon leading tech labels 100% Pure (Airmiles), Soma Records (La Porte),
    iVAV (Fu Kaka), 8 Sided
Dice (Continue) and Sprout (V3) all made sure they were in from the start and were rewarded with
several weeks in the upper reaches of the chart including a Beatport Top 100 no.1 for Airmiles (100%
    Pure).

This production success led to Reset Robot completing a number of high profile remix projects. To date
Reset Robot remixes have appeared on Drumcode (Gregor Tresher), Mistakes Music (Secret Cinema
& Ramon Tapia), Alchemy (Mauro Picotto), Traum (Max Cooper), Varience Recordings (Gary Beck),
Brandnewvibe Recordings (Pleasurekraft), Respekt Recordings (Spektre) and Stolen Moments (Hans
Bouffmyhre). In addition Reset Robot’s own Roomab Music is rapidly approaching its tenth release

releases so far featuring the talents of Marco Bailey, Rich Jones, Focus Puller, Teva and of course Reset
    Robot himself.

Leading supporters of the Reset Robot sound have so far included Carl Cox (“new wave house – love it”),
Ivan Smagghe (“the new star? big room stuff of quality”), Stephan Bodzin (“Reset Robot delivers bombs”),
Gregor Tresher (“another big Reset Robot release”), Tim Xavier (“Reset Robot is the bomb!) and Max
Cooper (“I might just start doing whole sets only featuring Reset Robot tracks”) as well as clubs such
as Fabric London, Sankey’s Manchester, Exit Lithuania, The Pod Dublin. Sugar Factory Amsterdam and
La Batafor Paris all providng a regualr showcase for Reset Robot’s live show and DJ sets across the best
    events in Europe
