Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    2 issues

It seems to be a bit flucked up, earlier in the year they got upgraded to an HD box and whenever they turn on the tv they have to hit i followed help on the remote to turn on the sky channels

Ages ago they added a tv to the kitchen and the local tv guy hooked up a connection to the main terrestrial aerial but also added a connection to the sky box so that they could also watch the selected channel from the sky box, I can see that he used a small white box - this is the one he used - http://www.alcad.net/uploads/hojas/2631140.01.pdf, however this has now stopped working.

Any ideas on how to fix either problem and may be a suggestion on how to improve their watching experience in the kitchen without getting multiroom?

    Thanks for looking.

The Alcad device you linked to is just a power supply. How do you know that it is the power supply that is causing the problem? The power supply is probably powering a masthead amplifier somewhere. you need to tell us more information about how it is set up.

Well as far as I can see, there's one of the box's co-axial cables is going directly to the dish and one is being routed through the power unit and then onto the dish.

Although the strange one is how they have to turn on the satellite signal, never seen that before.
