Didn't get to take many photos this year - work seriously got in the way. But even so, I have a few favourites

From a team day out at the beach near Amsterdam - this is one of my Spanish colleagues who is 100% photgenic material. Every shot with him in it is entertaining



Giraffe at Berlin Zoo - just got really lucky with the colours

This is my favourite - purely because of the associated memories. It was my first holiday abroad (Athens) with my girlfriend.




I'm really proud of this one because it was an idea that I wasn't fully convinced of, but turned out better than I expected.




This is a view from my favourite walking route; must have done it 40 or 50 times last year and never did I see a sky like this - I don't always have my camera when I go there, just lucky I decided to bring it that day.

Bought my first DSLR (Canon 450D) about 2 months ago, first night shot with kit lens.... the only processing - cropped and shading of an obtrusive tree on the left - no manipulation of light contrast or brightness
