New Samsung Tocco Lite won't swich on?

Anyone have this problem? My daughter got one from Samta last night. It comes on briefly when on the charger but goes off again after a few seconds. It won't even do that when not on the charger.

Perhaps leave it on the charger for a couple of hours. If it doesn't charge up the most likely thing is a dud battery

It seems to be working now. It was charging all night. I think it's faulty though, thanks.
