Apparently we're also getting a leader class Ironhide..

Confirmed as a new Voyager yesterday, or the day before.

Those oversized 'Mechtech' canons will be be a theme through the line, apparently they can transform in themselves, combine etc.

    Meh.

Ah that explains thatBumblebee figure I saw with some sort of huge engine attached to the front of car mode.

Im not feeling these two. Although the head on the prime looks nice, but not nice enough for me to buy it

    More stuff.

Remember: We're supplied by Hasbro UK, so prices here are determined by the GBP/euro exchange rate.... We probably won't be subject to those prices.

And if we are, i'm waiting til they go on clearance.

Some of those prices are disgusting.

    This is the Shockwave toy.

I like the look of it. Retains characteristics of the G1 shockwave while keeping the feel of teh movie designs.

Whilst keeping the feel of Megatron.

Perhaps they could've left Megatron as is, and made Shockwave the truck.

The aul trailer doesn't look so great iin robot mode...

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,797 ✭✭✭ChopShop

Perhaps as people walk past this thing in the shops, it will randomly make that alarm noise from the superbowl trailer.

    Wow.

It's not exactly Powermaster Prime for aesthetics, is it?

(It looks like it might have similar articulation though :D )

    That Omega-Optimus-Armada Megatron-Blades-Prime looks awful.

Will probably be like Armada Prime in Super mode.

The new look of Prime is a bit off, with the cab wheel arches on his arms, but I assume it's for easier transformation because although Leader Class HFTD Prime is an amazing figure, it's an awful toy, that is stupidly hard to transform.

Lots of new product announcements on TFW

And 'exclusive' pictures from the Transformer Collector Club have appeared on
a site stating with "4" (not sure i'm allowed mention the site by name?)

And Sideswipe looks like dog crap.

Apparently Silver paint is now really expensive.

Just watched some of the DOTM toy reviews on peaugh's youtube channel. Some of them are really cool like Shockwave, but some look really tacky. Anyone know the release date for these at retail over here? wernstrom!? ;)

Im guessing around the same time as the movie, but peaugh seems to have them very very early.

    Wave 1 May 16th.

Not everything shown at Toy Fair or seen elsewhere will get a release that date.

Shockwave is Wave 2, and i'm pretty sure Leader Ironhide won't be out by then either.

Ultimate Prime isn't due for a US release til start August.

Deluxes... eh, i don't know. You can probably expect the first two waves of those to ship almost simultaneously because they're the bread and butter of the line.

What's in each individual Deluxe wave, no, i don't know that either.
Crankcase, Starscream, Roadbuster, Jolt, Ratchet, (new mold), Topspin, take your pick. There may be others.

I'm only semi-paying attention to the line so far, only a handful of things i'll be buying, probably.

Now these look like fun. Prime and Megatron toys with trailers that turn into battle stations (whuch can also be used as armour)

^ TFW don't allow direct linking.

I'm passing in the hope of a Leader next year.

Actually i may pass on that too. I'm almost over the movie franchise at this point.

Did you use your mod powers to edit the quote as well, was TFw being odd, or was my PC being odd?

Edit: Now it's not showing up again. Guh?

Case breakdown for Dx Wave 1.

    3 X BBs
    1 X of everyone else.

    Sponsored car....either Roadbuster or Topspin.

    "Enforcer" is Crankcase, i think.

    And Voyager Wave 1.

    1 Ironhide per case.?

I guess we should be glad it isn't just a case of 6X Voyager BBs.

What do they mean by "sponsored car"?

Also is this an indication of what Hasbro think the demand for each toy is? As in do they think there will be greater demand for Megatron so they put more of him in each case? BB must be more popular than I thought!

Literally, a car with sponsor logos on it.

The actual toy it refers to is one of the (Nascar) Wreckers, Roadbuster or Topspin.

If it's still a transformer I'd be up for picking it up. They looked very cool in the movie stills.

There's a Human Alliance version of at least one Wrecker.

    Probably all three.

Will be keeping an eye out for them, although the budget will probably only stretch to the Leader Class Sentinel Prime.
