You seem to have a large bank of cash :) American football play offs will be good to watch. I think they all will be close games.

Love the playoffs, always crackers. Think the saints should have too much for Seattle tonight.

Really shouldn't but getting caught up in it and gonna have two more bets.
70 on the saints -10 at evens
60 on Shockey over 35.5 yards at 5/6

Great game but it's certainly not looking good for my bets..

    100 on the saints +7 at 10/11

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,288 ✭✭✭fkiely

Saved a bit with that last bet thankfully. What a game though!

90.91 on the Jets at 11/10

How did the Saints game finish?...ive been watching the NBA...was tempted to do the Saints to win the Superbowl again at the start of the season but didnt bother.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,080 ✭✭✭homolumo

They lost by 4 I think. Jets beat Colts by a point so a win for Kiely there.

You missed a cracker mate, both games were excellent. The two this evening have a lot to live up to..

Early one for me today, Roma at 7/5.

Roma were cruising until Juan came on and gave away two goals, the donkey.

Anyway, going to have my biggest bet so far, 200 on Milan -1 at 17/10. Also have 50 on Liverpool at 7/2

Bollocks. Gonna take a little break an reassess my strategy, it's a bit all over the place at the moment. Still around 600 in profit so can't complain.

Right going to start afreash after a really poor weekend. Another 100 deposited and on we go. Going to try and give a bit of reasoning like I used to from now on, might give a bit more clarity and stop some of the impulse bets.

    Balance (B) - 100
    Deposited (D) - 720
    Withdrawn (W) - 1200
    Profit/Loss (P/L) - 580

First one is 40 on Australia -3 at 5/4.

India are really muck. They've let in 22 goals in their last four games. They're also missing probably their best player today while they always seem to struggle against any decent team. Australia seem to have changed the way they play under Osiek and are a lot more attacking. They've their first choice team out and should do enough to comprehensively beat India. Only worry I'd have is that Australia often find it hard to score.

Bit close for comfort but can't complain with the result (4-0). Going to have another 40 on South Korea -1 at 6/4

Red card and peno to Bahrain in the 88th minute means it finishes 2-1. Shame as South Korea were absolutely cruising.

30 on the pp special of Derby and Rangers at 11/5

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,288 ✭✭✭fkiely

Can't be having the price on Derby who despite it being the FA cup are still three divisions above Crawley. Strong team out as well. 80 on Derby at 5/4

The first leg of the first semi-final of the Carling Cup takes place tonight and it’s West Ham hosting Birmingham. Will be a tough game tonight as I’d expect Birmingham to come and try set up shop to grab something to bring back to St Andrews for the second leg.

For West Ham this game is massive. It’s a chance for the team and especially the manager to get something out of this season. Avram seems to be a bit of a cup specialist when one considers his record with Chelsea and Pompey in previous seasons. He’s done pretty well with us this season also, making us the only team to have beaten Man United (4-0 in case you forgot...) so far this year. We’ve a relatively fit squad with the usual people missing. We rested a few at the weekend in what was another cup win for Avram and we should see the return of Parker and company tonight. The crowd will be well up for it and we can only hope that the players can reciprocate.
    *
In regards to Birmingham, they’ve been a bit of an odd side this season, results wise. Bowyer is a big loss for them in the centre of midfield while they seem to be struggling to score goals and are the second lowest scorers in the league. They’re not on great form which, Newcastle aside, West Ham are.
    *
Two of the last three corresponding fixtures finished with the Irons taking the three points with the other finishing in a draw.
    *
I think Birmingham will be happy enough to take a draw back to Birmingham while it’s a must win game for West Ham.
    *
I usually loath to bet the team I support but at the odds currently available I’ll take them in what should be a decent game.

200 on West Ham at 6/5

40 on Arsenal, Inter, Celtic and Barca to win at 5/2

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,288 ✭✭✭fkiely

Quite liking the look of Almeria tonight. The cup seems to be a bit of release for them at the moment and they've been on alright form. Depor have improved of late but still struggle to score with regularity and are missing a good few players tonight. Odds have come in from 13/10 the other day but at 11/10 I still think there's value to be had. 150 on Almeria at 11/10

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,288 ✭✭✭fkiely

Quite fancy the overs in tonights Bundesliga game. Both sides have been scoring for fun and combined with the importance of winning it to Leverkusen, should make for an open enough game. 50 on over 2.5 at 4/5
