Cheers fella. Don't know how the Valencia one didn't come in considering the circumstances. Barca only winning 3-0 (had them to win by 4 or more) and Porto winning 1-0 (two or more) weren't great either, eradicated a lot of my winnings from the day. Ah well, these things happen though.

Stupid weekend of gambling. I need to re-introduce more discipline into what I'm doing, it's costing me big time. The majority of bets I identify during the week are coming in but it's the ones I take at a fancy are killing me. I worked it out this morning that if I'd jsut stuck to what I fancied during the week I'd be up around 4-500. Instead I'm down a tenner.

As part of my attempt to bring a bit more discipline into my gambling, I’ll be attempting to justify my selections (when I have time) and will try and stay away from online gambling.

Hercules have only scored one goal away from home in the last nine games after scoring two against Barca in the opening game.
The game against Barca was in fact their only win on the road this season, losing six of them.
Their position in the table appears to be down to their decent home form and is quite typical of newly promoted team in La Liga.
Interestingly enough, considering their strong home form, Bilbao are one of the only sides to have beaten Hercules at home.
Bilbao have the fourth best home record in the league and have been exceptionally strong at home for years.
The last time these sides met in this corresponding fixture it finished 2-0 to Bilbao.

I think the 21/10 on offer for Bilbao on the handicap is quite decent value.

Had a big write up ready for the Juve - Roma game but I messed it up trying to put it on here.

Anyway, in short I really like the look of Roma tonight against a Juve side without Krasic and Aquilani (leaves them with no creativity at all).

Vucinc gets a big chance to impress tonight as well so fancy him to get on the scoresheet.

Uzbekistan - South Korea

After the mauling they recieved from Australia in the semi, the confidence of the Uzbekis will be very low. Their coach has mentioned that he'll be making some changes for the game as they've already exceeded their pre-tounament expectations. They also have a couple of injuries and suspensions to deal with.

South Korea on the other hand will be slightly disappointed with not reaching the final, and especially losing to Japan. It's a farewell game for a couple of the Koreans and their coach has mentioned that he'll play as strong a team as he can. The main worry with them is fatigue but hopefully they'll be able to put in another decent performance.

It's also important to note that the winner of this match qualifies automatically for the next Asian Cup so it's not a completely pointless game like a lot of third place play-offs.
