Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We have put a password on startup through the BIOS but I would like if possible to put a message on startup saying "if found please return to xxxx" is that possible?

No its not possible, you could put a note inside the ram, cover return to ,name.email adress,phone no,and carve your name on the inside of the ram, hardrive , plastic covers,with a small screwdriver.if someone steals it, they wont give it back anyway.
USE hardrive encryption and username account passwords, if you are afraid of someone getting your bank info,passwords if the laptop is lost.put a lable ,name phone no, on the laptop,underside.
You could put a note on the desktop, use notepad, if lost ring your name at no x, email x.THERES free encryption programs on the net.
