How do you set up kinect?

As the title says how do you set up the kinect? GF's nephew got an xbox with kinect from Santa and they don't know how to set it up. (They are in Cork and I'm in Dublin.) Any help greatly appreciated.

It comes with a very easy to use set up guide in the box. Lots of pictures for setting it up with the old and new type xbox. Silly Cork people

I guess it's the newer xbox so it's just a case of putting the kinect cable into the back of the xbox. Hooking the xbox up to the telly and then plugging it in. Follow the on screen calbration and your all set.
