Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How can the most annoying "Rates Advert Screen" be disabled when Skype 5.0 starts up?

The "X" closes it but it reappears on startup every time.

Basically, It's up to skype to decide this. As this is a decent way of generating income, I doubt they will give you the the option to disable it. On the plus side, skype isn't the only voip client out there: http://ekiga.org/download-ekiga-binaries-or-source-code

A workaround could be to Hibernate instead of ShutDown. I find it quicker too; the occasional full restart is needed from time to time.
