    Hi guys

I was given an xbox recently and tried to play my brothers copy of Black ops.
the screen prompts that I have to play it in "Pal60" mode
When I do so the game plays but the video quality is poor and the menu screen is distorted.

    My TV is a Samsung 32" 720p 50hz lcd

    My question is:
    1) If I switch to HDMI will this work on Pal50?
    2) Do I need a TV with more hz, ie: a 100hz tv?

    thanks for your advise

How old is your TV? i thought all TVs made in recent times supported 60hz but to answer your question:

    1. maybe but unlikely
    2. this is the more likely option
